Autistic Wings Dance Company

Meet Natalie, Age 11, our June featured artist. Natalie was that dancer counting tiles in the studio's ceiling while dreaming of dancing under the bright lights. But most dance studios are not set up to handle dancer's who want to count ceiling tiles and learn to dance.

When Natalie's little sister came to Autistic Wings, it was supposed to be just her sister. However, the moment Natalie walked in the door she knew she found her studio home.

What started as taking just a few classes quickly became joining the Golden Chrysalises, teaching classes herself, working backstage at the recital, fundraising, and over all being one of the reasons our doors stay open.
